Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to civora.io, api.chexi.ai endpoints made available for Civora, and related prelaunch services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Columbus AI Automation Solutions, LLC (“we,” “us,” “Civora”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Civora is in prelaunch. We do not guarantee availability, features, pricing, timelines, or a launch date. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or waitlist at any time without liability. Descriptions on the site are illustrative until we offer general availability.

By submitting the waitlist form you represent that your information is accurate, you are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You consent to our storing your submission in our PostgreSQL database via api.chexi.ai and sending you a transactional confirmation email through Resend. We may contact you about early access. Duplicate email addresses may be rejected.

We may email you about Civora early access and related product updates for your signup.

Civora is not a law firm, lobbying firm, financial advisor, or government agency. Nothing on the Service is legal, financial, lobbying, or official government advice. See our Disclaimer.

Civora uses artificial intelligence to summarize and analyze legislative information. Outputs may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Congressional data is sourced from public APIs (including Congress.gov) and third parties we do not control. Verify any information against official government sources before relying on it or taking action.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service unlawfully or to harass, defraud, or harm others.
• Scrape, probe, or overload api.chexi.ai or circumvent rate limits or access controls.
• Submit false waitlist information or impersonate another person.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code or models except as permitted by law.
• Interfere with the security or integrity of the Service.

The Service, branding, and content we provide are owned by Columbus AI Automation Solutions, LLC or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to access the Service for personal or internal business research during prelaunch. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute our content or data feeds except as expressly allowed.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR DIRECT DAMAGES ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100) OR (B) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Columbus AI Automation Solutions, LLC and its officers, members, and contractors from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that exclusive jurisdiction for disputes relating to these Terms or the Service lies in the state or federal courts located in Ohio, and you waive objections to venue in those courts unless prohibited by applicable law.

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on civora.io/terms with a new effective date. Material changes apply from the posted date. Continued use constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
